MINISTRIES
Ministry is at the heart of who we are. We are constantly asking these questions. How do we minister to the people who have committed themselves to Christ and this church? How do we minister to the hurting and broken people in our community? How do we become a blessing to others who are serving--school teachers, police officers, city workers and others?
Kid's Ministry
One thing is absolutely clear from the teachings of Jesus--Children are very special. “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.” Mark 9:37 (NLT) We value children at The Place.
Family Ministry
The basic building block of a nation is the family. When families are broken, society is broken. We place a strong emphasis on ministry that produces healthy families. If you, or someone you know, is struggling to achieve health in your family dynamics, we are here to serve.
Women's Ministry
From Bible days to this present age, women have played a pivotal role in the plan of God. It was women who first received and shared the news that "Jesus is alive." We recognize the gifts that God has given to the church through women and provide opportunities for these gifts to be developed.
Men's Ministry
The importance of helping men reach their full potential cannot be overstated. When a God-honoring man leads a home the chances of that family succeeding rises exponentially. We are committed to helping men achieve all they have been created to do.
Volunteer Groups
An important part of our DNA is to serve our community. We will do that by partnering with other individuals, businesses and community groups to serve those around us.
